Exif Pilot is a simple program that allows users to do just that.Įxif Pilot's interface is plain, with a traditional three-pane layout. Although the camera generates much of this information automatically when the photo is taken, sometimes the information contained in the EXIF needs to be added to or edited. This metadata, as it's commonly known, includes details about the camera's make and model, the artist's name and copyright, shooting information such as aperture, ISO, exposure, and much more. The program's GUI is quick and easy to use, but if you prefer, it can also be run from the Explorer right-click menu, or from your own scripts via its command line interface.Exchangeable Image File Format, or EXIF, is an image file specification that stores information about each image. ![]() BatchPurifier then rewrites each file, stripping out your chosen metadata, usually in just a few seconds.īatchPurifier can also remove metadata from JPEGs in ZIP archives, without you having to extract the images first.
